By a series of irregular steps, we slowly descended.

leaping from rock to rock when practicable but often putting off our packs sliding into the little ledge below and then dragging the packs after us on each side of us was a dense growth of brush a kind of natural parapet over which we could hurl a stone a thousand feet into the sheer depths but we could not hear it strike Seabirds soared above us and below us.

Sometimes they hovered just above our heads and eyed us curiously.

Then with a stroke of their powerful wings they would soar away with a cry that was half fearful, half defiant.

Bombers win.

Like, that – I mean, as much as I kind of, you know, gave you your flowers at the top of this episode, I think we kind of got to take the hit that we didn't have – them going out past that first game against the Mamba, and that just shows the resiliency this team had, right? We were kind of counting them out after the whole Teddy Allen situation, and we didn't think they were going to rally even past the Mamba, but they played really well, and they're the champions, so we just got to take a moment to just absorb that and really just put some respect on them there.

This is the end of the CBL season, and the Winnipeg Seabirds are your champions.

So let's kind of pose it with this question, kind of to wrap that season up.
