SD Raiders FC

Lost quite a few of their last couple of games.

Uh, lost their last game against SD Raiders where they really weren't playing their full side, but then lost at home to Manly in the first round of the playoffs, rather meekly going out on penalties.

And then they had that clean-out of players, so a whole load of players, Nick Olsen amongst them, Richard Szueki as well.

Some rumors circulating around that there'd been a little bit of fallings out, some players falling out with the, with the coach.

But, um, yeah, look, they're a bit shaky at the defense, uh, towards the end of the season as well.

You know, conceded probably far too many goals than they would've liked, and that kind of sort of silly goals as well.

A couple of silly goals against SD Raiders right at the end of the season.

So, uh, yeah, it's, uh, an interesting one.

I think they're relatively occasioned.

I think the form line actually stacked up really nicely as well, given what SD Raiders end up doing, knocking out MacArthur and then narrowly going down

to Sydney

in their campaigns.

So they've come from third to win the grand final.

They had the benefit of Newcastle Jets knocking out SD Raiders for them.

And SD Raiders win promotion and deservedly so for being the top team over the home and away.

But they must be wondering how they weren't in this game.

I mean, SD Raiders were 2-0 up against the Jets, had a penalty save to go 3-0 up, hit the woodwork to go 3-0 up.

And Newcastle somehow came back and got them on penalties the other way.

It was an interesting, entertaining game.

Yes.
