Scud: The Disposable Assassin

Now, granted...

Tom and Ari was inspired by the likes of Sam and Max and Scud Disposable Assassin.

But I'm more related to Scud Disposable Assassin while other people are related to Sam and Max.

Sam and Max, the writing of Sam and Max was so genius in the comedic sense.

The best way I've heard Sam and Max's writing described to me is that Sam and Max is basically everything in the world is a massive joke and everyone is in on the joke.

Everything is just thrown in such a massive comedic loop all the time.

You're more interested in what's happening in the moment than what is actually relating to the reason that Sam and Max were sent to or go to this particular location.

While Scud the Soulful Assassin was written more in the vein of Scud is on the journey to do a certain thing.

This one's near and dear to my heart.

It is Scud the Disposable Assassin by Fireman Press.

And it was a comic about a vending machine robot that you buy and you give him an assignment to go kill something.

And once he kills it, he self-destructs.

So I ended up talking to Rob Schrapp on the phone about it.

He gave me permission to do it.

But the other person that I'm dancing around, I'm not saying his name is Dan Harmon, which is, if you know that name, yes, it is the, dan harman from community the showrunner of community helped create scud the disposable assassin and i had a conversation with him in like 1990 i don't know five on the phone about scud uh so it was just really i love that comic i still have all my t-shirts that i bought i had like five of the t-shirts i've got the graphic novels all the issues i i love that book so much in fact i wanted to buy a sega was it sega saturn It's like the game system nobody bought.

I can't play video games at all, but I was going to buy a Sega Saturn just to play the SCUD video game that was produced.
