Scrying

Feyre becomes convinced that the only way to turn the tide is to find the Suriel, a truth-telling fairy, and ask it to locate Hybern's hidden army.

So Feyre decides to secretly go and find the Suriel, who reveals that Nesta will need to use scrying stones, drawing on her connection to the Cauldron to pinpoint where Hybern's forces are actually hiding.

The Suriel also hints cryptically that Feyre alone might be pa- capable of conquering the Ouroboros Mirror, the same object that the Bone Carver demanded earlier.

Before it can explain further, Ianthe ambushes them, fatally wounding the Suriel.

The dying Suriel gives Feyre one final piece of guidance, telling her to stay with the High Lord before it dies.

Mor is furious that Feyre excluded her from this dangerous mission, and the friendship between them is strained for some time.

Nesta, however, successfully uses the Scrying Stones with Feyre's help to pinpoint the exact location of Hybern's massive hidden army.

But the Cauldron itself, now sensing Nesta's connection to it, retaliates by kidnapping Elain, disguising itself as Graysen to lure her away.

Yeah.

Shadar's gonna settle down and pull out his, uh, his silver and, um, his silver and platinum bowl, and he's going to cast Scrying.

Ooh.

Because something has, something has, um...

Okay.

Well, the Scrying Mirrors.

Well, the Scrying Mirrors, actually it's a medieval term.

They used to try and tell the future with obsidian mirrors.

Obsidian, the black stone, and they'd polish it.

And again, they're very odd things.

Sometimes they feel a little bit like a memory.

Sometimes I do call them my memory paintings, which I kind of like better than Scrying Mirrors.

So for the others, I have a Scrying Mirror that allows me to see Selene at any time.

But I would say that so far, everything's just been... cloudy, I kind of can't picture or see.

And I'm hoping if I pull it out, knowing that she is here somewhere that maybe I'll be able to find her.
