So if you're interested in playing with trackers, by the way, impulse tracker and the, you know, scream tracker, whatever it was.

There are modern versions of these things that you can play with for free.

I have always loved music, especially video game music.

As such, when I was in high school, when I was introduced to a program called Scream Tracker, I fell in love immediately.

My friend Justin was a master on the program and taught me all about how to make it tick.

He showed me that people had a tendency to upload their songs to the internet, a novel concept at the time, under pseudonyms.

Eventually in high school, I also met a fella named Zach Hagen.

and the two of us became fast friends.

I showed him the music I was making on Impulse Tracker, I think that was the successor to Scream Tracker, I'm not entirely sure on that history, and he thought it was pretty cool.

He wanted to make normal people music though, which is something I also had an interest in, but was nowhere near talented enough to do on my own.
