I think he's going to have something close to carte blanche.

And of course we're massive on Ty Jerome, but in the event that Memphis want to lean into a little bit more of a youth movement, Pippen is the guy at point guard.

I'm not sure if I would lean into that if you got Scottie Pippen Jr., Ty Jerome, and maybe even Cam Spencer to factor into that equation.

But I will say this before I move to my breakout play.

Walter Clayton Jr. is in an interesting position, right? He is a guy that the Grizzlies want to see.

He knows and he believes that his ability to play out of pick and rolls, being a better shot creator, being a secondary ball handler will really unlock some things for the Grizzlies.

Can he finally take that step? Well, not finally, because I mean, it's year three, but can he take that step and be that player that the Grizzlies can say, Okay, the team's trapping Ty Jerome.

I mean, like the guard battle is very open behind Ty Jerome, right? There's, there's an argument to prioritize Ty, Walter Clayton as a former first round pick just last season over a Scottie Pippen and none of them are really solidified as mainstays for the Grizzlies rotation in the future right outside of Zach Eadie, Cedric Howard, and of course, Cameron Boozer.

And with Bennett Sturtz, he has a uphill climb in himself, right? As a primary ball handler behind AJ Mitchell and let alone SGA and Jalen Williams.

So I think it's a little bit much, but the league seems to kind of align as this is a very fair trade, almost four, four, four split, uh, between the two different sides and of the voting and also the fair trade option.
