Scottsdale Scorpions

I got to pick one of the two.

So I will start with Braylon Payne of the Scottsdale Scorpions, Milwaukee Brewers.

Uh, so pain is an interesting prospect in that they It seems to not think that he was going to have the power that he's shown, but he's got some loud, loud exit velocities like 115, 116, 117 even.

I think scouts thought he was going to be more of a speedster, but he hit 28 home runs this year, 23 of them in high A.

And I'm kind of debating between two.

But I think I'm going to go with a guy I trust to make the major leagues a little bit more, even if it's a reliever.

And that's Miguel Mendez for the Scottsdale Scorpions.

Somebody that came over from the Padres into the Giants for a trade.

Salt River Rafters are the D-backs, Nationals, Rockies, Twins, and Yankees.

Scottsdale Scorpions, Astros, Brewers, Giants, Rays, and Tigers.

And then rounding it out, the Surprise Saguaros, the Guardians, Mets, Phillies, Rangers, and Royals.

The guy's heading to the Arizona Fall League from the Royals organization, heading to play for surprise.

Prospect One.

So the Arizona Fall League, again, if you're new to it, it is, uh, six teams, the Salt River Rafters, which is the home of the Diamondbacks and Rockies, the Scottsdale Scorpions, which is the home of the San Francisco Giants, the Mesa Solar Sox, which is the home is, uh, the Chicago Cubs, the Peoria Javelinas, it's a wild pig, a boar, um, is the home of the Padres and Mariners, the Glendale Desert Dogs is the home of the Dodgers and the White Sox, and the Surprise Saguaros is the home of the Rangers and Royals.

Those are the six teams.

And by the way, those home affiliates will play with those teams, and then they are gonna bring out the rest of these guys.

There was one year they brought out, was it Baez and Luis Lara? But they haven't done that a whole bunch.

I feel con- I, I feel relatively confident two of Mate, Burke, and Payne are gonna go.

So that is your Scottsdale Scorpions.

Scorpions, their biggest players, I guess, that I'm predicting would be Mate, Nahans, Rainier, Flewelling, and then, you know, the next tier is, like, Brasini.

But I do know that the Astros won't have one of the managers this year.

Yeah, so it'll be Scottsdale Scorpions, Astros Brewers, Giants, Rays, and Tigers for the 2026.

and I think if I remember right, I think last year they played – with McGonigal and some of the other really top prospects the Tigers had there.
