Honestly, after all of that travel, after battling British Gas, battling Scottish Power on behalf of my dad, battling the insurance company, the health issues, we just needed somewhere that we knew, somewhere that we enjoyed when we were here earlier this year that was may time i think we had a great month here and we only had a month and this time we've got a visa we've got at least two months that we can stay here and just settle in it's just moving into winter it rains most days it's two scottish people we love it yvonne and i were out in the rain yesterday walking down the beach and it was like bliss I think the locals probably thought we were nuts, the two of us, just walking through in shorts and a t-shirt, no umbrella, soaking wet.

We stopped off at one of the little Circle K stores, which is like a little supermarket.

We picked up a couple of coffees, we came home and we just had showers and watched TV for the rest of the day and that was perfect.

And, yeah, and, you know, we came in there, we had two massive stock calls, which went completely against the market.

Massive buy recommendation on some company called Scottish Power, massive sell recommendation on a company called British Energy.

Everyone else in the entire city was the opposite.

And the other thing is we had British Energy was our key buy.

Does the Deputy First Minister agree that care home residents should not be left relying on borrowed generators every time a storm downs the network? During Storm Eowyn, care homes in Inverclyde had to be supplied with generators from Scottish Power.

Will she tell Parliament how many of Scottish care homes have any backup power? I know from asking myself that a re- neighboring Edinburgh care home has no backup and relies on the energy companies.

If you cannot come up with what the number is, will you commit to an audit to see what the proposal is and whether something should be done before January, which NESSA says is the tightest month?

They've got to then think about doing a retrofit on a new build, which is bonkers.

They buy a brand new house and then they call up Scottish Power or Mitsubishi Electric and say, I bought this brand new house, but it's got no air source heat pump and it's got no electric charging point, but no solar panels on the roof.

What can we do about it? So for me, it's about the industry giving a broader offer to people in their communities.

Different house types at different standards, at different levels, at different costs that might have different levels of tech inside them.

Now, I think the industry is ready for it.

I think, you know, Mr. Bush is ready for it.

Scottish Power is ready for it.

Artitects are desperate to get involved in stuff like that.

Now, let's be fair to everyone here.

So it's all the big companies on the estate and in the area.

And they had, I believe it was Scottish Power there.

And they talked about all of their major infrastructure projects and related costs and so on.

And every now and then they used the term, which for me as a curator, As a curious sort of person who likes to understand more in detail, it just got my ears pricking up.

So normally, the portable tariffs, British Gas, EDF, E.ON, Next, Fuse Energy, Octopus, Ecotricity, Utility Warehouse.

The non-portable, but no early exit penalties if you move house, Outfox, OVO, Scottish Power, Sainsbury's Energy.

So if you want to go onto a comparison site and find your cheapest and you want a portable one, then you're probably looking for British Gas, EDF, E.ON, Next, Fuse Energy, Octopus, Ecotricity, or Utility Warehouse.

And that's what I would be looking at if you wanted to lock in a cheap fix right now because you're paying your bill right now, aren't you?
