Scottish Police Authority

Yeah, it's a little pun there.

Following recommendations from the Scottish Police Inspectorate to enforce stadium banning orders, Farrell noted that any formal rollout would require a clear business case and approval from the Scottish Police Authority, while Scotland's Biometrics Commissioner continues to call for a comprehensive legal framework.

Heading to the Middle East, BioKey International has secured a new deployment with a regional government security agency to protect its core communications and web services.

Working with Gulf distributor IT Harmony, the company rolled out multi-factor authentication and single sign-on in under two months, building on its growing public sector presence across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

What we can say is that in July 2025, Police Scotland discovered one alleged illicit drugs laboratory in Ayrshire, in Patna, in Ayrshire, and they arrested two men aged 29 and 24 and a 23-year-old woman.

Later, the Deputy Chief Constable of Police Scotland told the Scottish Police Authority board when she was briefing them on whatever the police had been up to, that this was a suspected nitizine lab and this had been the first one in the UK to be uncovered.

Now, as I say, It's obviously going to go through the court process.

People are innocent unless proven guilty.
