And I suppose I often say this, that it was the right decision, but clearly very poorly executed.

But also, if I think about that...

That's the original sin, if you like, with regards to this absence of definition for green data centres.

And that national planning framework was implemented during the Bute House Agreement with cross-party consensus, right? Yes, it went through lots of drafts, but ultimately there was a serious lack of awareness from every party in that parliament with regards to what stipulating explicit support for green data centres would mean.

Right? And I think that this comes back to a point we made earlier about the quality of scrutiny of legislation and plans in the Scottish Parliament and, again, the attitude and readiness to take on the points of lobbyists.

So we have a job to do in redirecting the debate back to questions of ownership and pointing out some of these criticisms in addition to those of resource-based energy and water concerns.
