The interesting aspect here is that, uh, this group, this consortium, they already own a club, uh, Spartans in Scotland, I think in Scottish League Two.

So, uh, there've been a few instances of English club owners investing in Scottish clubs in the last couple of years, like Tony Bloom, for example.

Uh, but here we have the owners of Spartans taking over Shrewsbury Town, we think, if that all gets green-lit and passed through.

... at the weekend, and they're passing the ball where they've got the forward on the break, and they're passing the ball from the back and all that and that.

Um, he, uh, Jays Kabia's had one of the maddest rises from an Irish player in the last couple of years.

He went from not getting minutes at Cork and Cove to going to the Scottish League 2, then went from the Scottish League 2 to National League South, then went from National League South to League 2 last season, and scored so many goals that he got a move to Leyton Orient, um, in League 1 this year, and has started really, really well with, um, with the O's.

And he's one of those players who's had the maddest rise, where he's kind of probably surprised so many people with how quickly he's rose up the, the pyramid.

And he's almost that type of player that if he ended up playing in the Premier League one day, it wouldn't even be a surprise.

Okay.

And you know, why Scottish League Two is where we're all going next as global football fans.

Uh, you know, there's, there's a club that plays in a leisure center in Edinburgh, another one that plays at a stock car racing track.

Ooh.

Brilliant.

Unfortunately, there is no early payout in the Scottish League Two, and Spartans came back to draw the game 3-all.

Just really unlucky, 'cause, you know, if that's a league with an early payout, he's home and hosed after an hour.

Um, but yeah, un- unfortunate, Callum.

What division do they play in?

Scottish, Scottish League 2, so the Scottish Fourth Division.

They were the closest team to me when I lived in Scotland, so, you know, up the Loons.

Oh yeah, let's go.

We, we should note that.

They're Scottish League Two, Stranraer.

But chances are there's probably somebody in there said, "Right, he's gonna be involved and get good minutes every week basically with you guys as long as you think he's up to it.

Otherwise we'll bring him back," essentially is what I imagine the deal will be.

So yeah, I think, I think, uh, I think get, get out there in, in men's football, put yourself about a bit as well, see if you can get some goals, and then they'll obviously re-look at it and see maybe if they can move him to a higher, a higher level again.

Yeah.

And 'cause I f- I'm not sure really what the comparable standard in England is of Scottish League Two.

I'm not really sure.

I'm looking forward to previewing Manchester United on this episode in front of a Manchester United fan, but it's, it's all good.

Seemed to be the consensus that a spell at the team might do, might do him a bit of good.

Robbie Mann, liked him when he was at Edinburgh City, but that was an Edinburgh City team that were in league two.

Yeah.

I'm not sure if he's quite what they need at, at this stage.

Nowhere near as impressive as they were last season.

And even, even players that we thought would be good additions, like Tommy Robson, hasn't started the, the season particularly well.

And, and maybe, maybe... 'Cause I think that, I think that Dumbarton squad is, is decent by League Two standards, and maybe, maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm, maybe I'm over-egging their, their abilities and, and their quality.

But i- it's bad enough if you take over a, a struggling team and you, you can't get a result from them.
