Um, Scott, uh, what were some of the reasons when you were testifying that you personally explained as the benefits, uh, that autonomous vehicles bring to the blind community?

Um, some of them, you know, mentioned just a, a moment ago and around independence and around just that, um, autonomy, but also, uh, options.

Um, as we know, there's, there's public transportation available in the district.

Um, and then there's, uh, of course also rideshare and there's other opportunities, but, but just options.

Um, as, as we have said in, in other situations that, um, independence does not mean that, that you, that you have one choice, you have one option and this is your, this is your one way to be independent.

Um, choosing the way that, that you want to be independent and, um, so having more options just in our opinion, in my opinion, is better.

Um, and in this case, uh, also in, in building a little bit on what Claire said a moment ago is the fact that DC being our nation's capital obviously, and they even referenced that during the hearing was that yes, they are, um, you know, the District of Columbia so they're, they're DC but then, you know, sometimes they're DC and sometimes they're, you know, the, the capital of the United States.
