Was the speed that was on display.

Now I know we have a small sample size, and there's a chance that NC State just doesn't have much around C.J. Bailey, but the West Virginia skill position players were much more dangerous than than what we witnessed with the NC State Wolfpack coming to Scott Stadium.

And then Norfolk State, hard to take anything from that game.

But Virginia had a lot of time to prepare for Rich Rod and his scheme and what they were going to toss out there.

Now, that was the ultimate thanks for having us.

I was at Scott Stadium in 1985 when their pep band did one of those derogatory West Virginia halftime skits.

Well, right now we're visiting Virginia Beach.

And when I went shopping at the Kroger's on Friday afternoon in the mayonnaise aisle, I saw this sitting on top of the shelf.

Think back to everyone rolling down to Atlanta in 2025.

Other than us taking over Scott Stadium over the last several years and winning on the road there, and I know a lot of you guys listening to this, I will not I'd be remiss to mention taking down NC State last year on the road.

That was a big win.

That was an awesome win.

You got the D.C. Hokies.

You got even some folks come up from Richmond, like the Bakers.

They come on up, and it was just like a Lane Stadium game was just moved up north, even further north than Scott Stadium.

And I mentioned how I applauded the Ole Miss decision to not allow purple and gold in its student section.

And then that brought back so many memories that I just started ranting to you about when I used to go to games at JPJ or even Scott Stadium and I'd look and I'd see fellow students bringing their Carolina friends or their Duke friends or their Virginia Tech fans to watch with them in the student section as, oh, wouldn't this be cute? And it made me furious.

So I applaud Ole Miss for this decision.

And when I saw that headline, it certainly brought back some memories that I didn't really want to rekindle.

The only thing that could rear its head is neutral field.

How does this team function away from Scott Stadium? Because I do think the home environment and the crowd has been a weapon this year.

I know the Norfolk State game was a foregone conclusion, but I thought the crowd was a weapon and the comfort zone was very influential and Virginia jumping on NC State.

Yeah, it's so interesting when you have these rosters, though, that are rebuilt, right? And it's, you know, Scott Stadium is new to a lot of the key guys, right? Bo Pribula against Norfolk State was playing his second game in Scott Stadium.

Yeah.

So I think there is an element of, especially these older guys, the transfers, you can take this show on the road.

That's one that comes to mind.
