It's really difficult to adapt and continue to make those little subtle adjustments the way, you know, Gimple and company are doing and then, you know, and Glenn and Frank before him.

You know, do it in a compelling way that doesn't put off the audience.

Do it in a way that it still feels rich and new and different and of the world.

And I think that's, you know, one thing this universe has to do.

You know, Gimple has said it's not over.

You know, he's like, I've never said it's over.

This is just the end of this story or this series.

But at the same time, I was, you know, it was just very touching to see her emotions get the better of her and just we all understand like not to her capacity, but we understand as fans was like okay well we're gonna see them again when you know like how you know how long we have to wait that kind of thing and so it was really interesting to see yeah just to see her reaction and things and I watched a lot of videos and you know interviews after like during that you know weekend and things and that's when I you know saw something about you know they gave me a little bit more information about Jimmy Jimmy Smith's character and So he's Captain Alejandro Perkins, a former U.S. Navy officer and medical doctor who has survived and adapted to the apocalypse.

So that, okay, so he's adapted to the apocalypse.

Okay, what has he done to adapt? Is he a good guy or a bad guy? And they asked someone, I think TV Insider asked Gimple.

He's like, we are not going to answer that.

I'm used to his like '90s [laughs] floppy hair, I guess.
