So when I got the book back, two guys I'd been to college with were starting like a skateboard magazine called Bone Machine, right? That never went anywhere either, but they were like, oh, let's put your novel out on Bone Machine.

This will be the first one.

We'll tie it in with the skateboard magazine.

And it was really, really cool idea.

I was getting a lot of social media followers and I had already had a book of poetry at that point that initially had sold a decent amount of copies.

Right,

is the first thing I first I've heard is about volume zero.

This, you'll see it soon because most, yeah.

And I, it was like a book club and then somebody with a bazillion dollars took over the magazine part of it.

And now they're publishing a lot of people that we know and paying them good money.

And that's cool.

But like, they just had a big party at the box in New York, which is like super exclusive and expensive.

It's like where Leonardo DiCaprio hangs out.

if you're willing to, can you tell me a little bit about like you and your dad and writing and like what that triangle looks like? I think it'll be interesting to other writers because I think we all have a weird relationship with a parental figure regarding all this stuff.
