Scott Henderson

There's distortion element that I like.

Um, also the first Chick Corea Elektric Band albums were, I, I think on some of the, uh, songs there was also Scott Henderson playing.

And then of course, the, another big influence is Pat Metheny.

When I'm playing clean, for example, there is a, there are a lot of Pat Metheny lines.

Nice.

And I'd get to play concerts with Scott Henderson and Frank Gambale and, you know, all these, you know, guys that would come in and do.

Killer fusion, yeah.

Right.

Allan Hertz, the drummer, is a fantastic drummer.

Um, but basically after touring with Garage for t- for 20 years, and then with Scott Henderson for about 10 years, he became increasingly successful as a studio recording engineer, and, uh, and a mixing engineer.

And he's done numerous hit, hit albums.

Uh, almost all of Joe Bonamassa's big hit records and, you know, recordings.

Anyway, but a go-go kind of went, like, Schofield, when I was growing up, like, I was really in fusion and stuff in the 90s, late 90s.

So, you know, guys like Mike Stern, who's all over my album, which I love, he's like, guys like that, John Schofield, John McLaughlin, Aldi Neola, that era of Scott Henderson, that era of players, really.

And I admire, like, I'm dear friends with a guy named Scott Henderson who we have a podcast together called Guitar Wake.
