Scott Eastwood would just be popping up and shit.

Really good movie.

Which won Best Picture, Clint Eastwood won Best Director, and Gene Hackman won Best Supporting Actor and also won Best Editing.

I don't really have an opinion about the editing.

um i think it's good i think the movie overall is really great i think in any other year where a few good men didn't exist i'd be like hell yeah this movie's awesome and i would have been very happy with gene hackman's win because he is really fucking great in this movie um obviously jack nicholson is even better in a few good men and it's really tragic that he did not win but i really enjoyed this i'm not a western person usually but i liked this one i thought it was really interesting i thought it had the right amount of like good writing versus like action slash violence set pieces that are good um i thought the ending shootout was like amazing um i just i was very entertained i thought it was a great movie

They were, like, 20 and 80.

It is scary.

I do think that in terms of as a director, not as a performing actor, I do think this is one of Eastwood's better, more coherent pieces of work.

Because I do think some of what he does is truly crazy.

It, it, there is an added layer when I'm sure, you know, you have a parent that's very famous to do that because I, you know, I see what Scott Eastwood goes through and-

Yeah, the son.

But then we kinda decided on, uh, something, he threw a couple choices out to us, and I had mentioned this one kinda in passing, too, over the years.

Uh, this, uh, 1984 Clint Eastwood film called Tightrope, which is a bit of a oddity in Eastwood's filmography.

He's got a few '80s oddities in there.

I think he was trying to kinda rediscover his kinda like mid, you know, midlife action thing.

Uh, obviously Stallone and Schwarzenegger were kinda the young pups.

But these guys from the '70s were trying to kinda hang on in the '80s, and so they were kinda messing around.

And I think Eastwood might have experimented the most in the '80s, really, when you go back and look at his '80s, 'cause you got the, you got the orangutan movies.

You got, uh, you got Tightrope, which we'll talk about what makes that interesting.
