Uh, they get Scott Barrett back who, who's playing his second NPC game, uh, in the last decade.

Now, the stat about him here is that out of the 18 NPC games, he's only scored in one game, and that one game was against Hawke's Bay.

So hopefully he can lift, uh, Taranaki here, but it's gonna be tough against a solid Hawke's Bay side.

Yeah, players earn that respect from the referee, and they might be coming in the side this time, but because the previous nine times they came in from the right place and got it, they will get that call go their way.

Do you think it would be a good idea for the All Blacks to copy that system and bring in a referee, bring in someone to essentially coach the team about how to react with referees? Because I look at Zio Khaleesi, and he's obviously got a very good relationship with referees can talk about things and perhaps influence stuff on the field I think Artie Sevilla feels like he's better at it than what Scott Barrett was before and I think that's probably I haven't had a look at the numbers but it's probably reflected this year in the amount of penalties that the All Blacks give away certainly there's been a drastic reduction in cards i can i can tell that much i don't think that i don't know how much that's down to arty just simply talking referee but there certainly seems to be a lot more conversations along the lines of hey how come that's not this and how come this wasn't blown up um Another situation was Kobus Ronak getting yellow carded in that test match in Soweto and that wasn't arty to be fair, he'd left the field by then, but that was very much Luke Jacobson because I saw it happen in front of me.

I'm not sure whether it came up on the TV coverage, but there was a very, very heated discussion between himself and Nick Amishkelly about that that led to that happening and had that conversation not taken place then it probably wouldn't have resulted in a card.

Do you think there needs to be more of an emphasis? Does New Zealand need a Jaco Piper to come in and coach the All Blacks on how to deal with refs?

Obviously, we already know what you think about expansion teams, but that is on the cards.
