Is that, is that with the injury concern baked in? Like, i- in a world where you knew he was 100% healthy, he's a first-round pick? Is that the idea?

If, if I knew he were 100% healthy, he would be a first-round pick.

You look at his last seven full games, he averages 118 yards per game.

He averages 22.7 fantasy points per game.

Justin Jefferson all the way down at like 8.4 fantasy points his last seven full games.

And, uh, and yeah, and so that's really what it comes down to.

I think there's like a r- a real world where I'm wrong, but how I'm wrong is just he was a better mid-season buy low than he was an actual draft pick.

Parker Washington's a good player, Scott, and he's your favorite pick in round six.

So where do you land with Taylor here?

Yeah, I just want to say, there is no one I would rather do a running back podcast with than you.

I think you really understand the position so much better than just about anyone else.

And I think that's what it is with Jonathan Taylor.

I mean, like I, I don't get why Colson Loveland goes ahead of him in every single draft.

It feels really tight to me.

Tyler Warren, his final year of college, had the most yards from scrimmage of any power conference tight end ever.

And then last year, before Daniel Jones fractured his fibula, he led all tight ends in receiving yards.

He was ahead of Trey McBride.

His yards per route run was higher than rookie season Brock Bowers.

We get him-

This is gonna be a useful player for me to have." But is this a guy that we're looking to get wide receiver 20? Or is it a guy that could go full-on 2024 Chris Godwin?

He's going 2024 Chris Godwin.

Yeah, that's what I said to you in April, and I said he was the single most mispriced player in drafts.

I say that.

He moves up everyone's rankings.

Everyone's talking about Parker Washington.

He rises in ADP two rounds.

But Stefon Diggs, what does he do for this offense? Is this a pie grows larger scenario where potentially things are better for Terry McLaurin, or does this cap Terry McLaurin's ceiling? And is Jayden Daniels just so set to have a smash year?

I, so I- I'm a little, like I said, behind on the draft guide, so a little disjointed.

Gonna have to, you know, pull things from my notes.

But um, first stat, Ja- Jamar Chase is the unanimous wide receiver one.

... loses the short stuff, you know?

How close is, like, Lamar Jackson and the, the rest of the kinda secondary tier to, to Allen for you?

Yeah, I, I mean, I don't think it's that close.

Uh, you can make a, a devil's advocate argument that Lamar Jackson is the, the better value going, what is it, you know, a round and a half later.

Um, because in 2024, Lamar Jackson was fantasy's QB1.

He averaged three fantasy points per game more than Josh Allen, who ranked second.

And then through the first three weeks last year, Lamar Jackson was continuing that pace.

He looked like head and shoulders above everyone else And then he picked up that lower body injury and he turned into Aaron Rodgers from a, a fantasy perspective, from a real life NFL perspective.

In your opinion, who are you taking at 101, or you, or, you know, are you just splitting that difference whenever you get the 103? Uh, is there a clear wide receiver one for you?

He was number two in receiving but, um, I'm curious, uh, are you expecting him to come in and put up some big numbers or is there a bit of a hesitation for that?

Uh, I'm not.

I, I'm not very, uh, bullish on DJ Moore.

I think he's, he's washed proba- I think there's a very, uh, high percentage chance he's washed.

Uh, la- last year...

O- over the last two years, all wide receivers with over 125 targets, there's 56 of them.

Uh, DJ Moore ranked bottom six in targets per route run, bottom six in yards per route run, bottom six in first downs per route run.

So it's a tough situation, but I do think it's a justified decision.

But this is one where I, I think you should be a little bit of an ageist, especially coming off the season that Stafford had as a regression candidate.

Well, I, I think I actually am a, a bit of an ageist.

Maybe it doesn't show up in the rankings, but that's just kind of happenstance with like, yeah, you know, Lamar Jackson's 29, but he has, you know, such a power law advantage over a, you know, a Dak Prescott or a, you know, Baker Mayfield, whatever.

Um, and yeah, it's, it's, yeah, he's 38 years old, but it's not just that.

It's also, um, Hayden Winks and I were, were joking about this on the timeline the other day is just like the, the, you know, the goldfish memory when it comes to injuries, how week 16 of last year, I'm an idiot and you hate me for recommending Kenneth Walker, the most injury-prone player of all time, and then the playoffs have him, and now he's going round two and no one's worried about this.

And, you know, Chris Olave's concussions, no one cares about that anymore.

But like this time last year, we were in a mad panic over Matthew Stafford, who's, and his back injury, and he had to like buy some special like Norwegian, uh, red light therapy bed that he lived in 24 7.

Irving to me is just very, very capped after they signed Gainwell for the next couple years.

I will have 0.0 of Etienne this year.

Yeah, I'm with you.

I think he might be one of the worst, you know, picks at cost in all of drafts.

Uh, at least until Alvin Kamara reti- like, if Al- Alvin Kamara got traded or retired tomorrow, I'd be more into it.

But right now, no, that's, that scares the crap out of me.

I also don't think he's good.

Like, I, I think the Saints, like, dramatically overpaid.

What are your thoughts on Baker and this Bucs offense this season?

Well, I, I, I think the Mike Evans criticism could be big.

Uh, you just look at the last two seasons.

Mike Evans missed 12 of 34 games.

With Mike Evans, Baker averaged 21.3 fantasy points per game behind only Josh Allen, Drake May.

And, uh, without Mike Evans, 16.4 fantasy points per game.

That would have ranked, uh, 20th last year.

Tight end 15 ADP is just way too cheap for him.

So Scott, if you can tell me about some of your favorites from this group, I'd be curious to hear about them.

Well, I only have one clear favorite must-draft.

Uh, and then I have like nine players I think you could just remove from your list and just like don't draft them and you'll be better off, uh, fading them.

And then some other guys, you know, I could be talked into.

Uh, my must-draft of this group is, is Parker Washington.

Uh, that's one of my guys, um, maybe in Exodia.

Uh, I- you just look at what happened last year.

Do you have any clear favorites from this group or any f- uh, clear fades?

I know you have apprehension about Sadiq, but when you look in retrospect of like what that trade turned out to be, that was sort of a no-brainer.

Yeah, I, I, I think so.

Again, like that's where over time I've really found the most value to be, like the biggest potential edge.

Uh, so my Dynasty co-manager, TJ Calkins, I really think is one of the best Dynasty players of all time.

Uh, you know, I had him on a, a Fantasy Points show.

Maybe you could find it.

It was like years ago.

And then we also threw in like Justin Herbert was also in the mix.

Scott, let's talk about some of the good things on the analytics side when we're talking about Tyson.

Yeah, well, just like a breakdown of who he is and what he's accomplished.

He started off in 2022 at Colorado.

He averaged 21.4 yards per catch, 2.79 yards per route run.

He did this as an 18-year-old true freshman.

For perspective, Casey Concepcion, Denzel Boston, they never hit 2.79 yards per route run in any season.

This wasn't even Tyson's best year and it makes it all the more impressive that he was 18 years old.

Now let's talk about some of your concerns.

How do you take this one away?

Yeah, I like this.

I think this is really interesting from a real life NFL perspective.

I also like it from a fantasy perspective.

What we're seeing right now is Sam Darnold is the best deep passer in fantasy points data history.

He has something like an 85%, 81.5% catchable throw rate on deep passes.

Otherwise the best ever mark in the fantasy points data era would be just 72%.

And does this sort of eliminate the Parker Washington narrative that a lot of people are diving into this week?

What are your thoughts on Scadaboo moving forward and the rise that we've seen over the last two weeks with his usage?

Yeah, I mean you guys just keep moving him up and up and up and maybe one day you'll you'll get to where I've had him the whole time.

This week, against a Saints defense that's pretty bad and because of Callum Moore's really fast pace of play.

I have, I have Cam Scadaboo as a top 10 option.

And I think now living in a post Malik neighbors world, we're going to see a very Scadaboo centric offense.

And I think it's warranted.

You look at the numbers, Scadaboo the last two weeks, easily leading the team in receiving first downs.

Is that too hype for you, Scott?
