Yeah, a Scotch-Brite pad.

What's that?

Wash dishes, right? So things you scrub cast iron hands with.

If it's a glass cooktop, that's all you do, and then you scrub with an abrasive sponge or scrubby tool.

You know, Scrub Mommy, Scrub Daddy, whatever, Scotch-Brite, whatever you use, okay? But if you have removable burners, you might need to remove those.

You know how to scrub your stove, but sometimes it takes more scrubbing than your countertop does, okay? There's something to be said for doing a preliminary scrub using dish soap and an abrasive sponge.

Then after you've done that, spraying on a cleaning product, giving it a few minutes to do its work, and then, you know, wiping that down and basically shining up your countertops.

So, you know, and, and I hadn't done like when I first made my first couple of knives, I, I did a, you know, a couple of, uh, um, acid edge, uh, knives, but I mean, it's been like probably like four years, uh, Uh, you know, since I've, I've done one, so I was like, you know, let me ask everybody like, because, you know, I'm, I'm not, uh, you know, I've been sanding, you know, up to like a thousand grit finish, you know, for most of my knives with some, some gray Scotch bright, uh, like evening pulls, uh, after that's all done to just kind of blend it.

Um, all, but then I was like, you know, I want to do one, uh, Uh, at least one acid edge one.

And so I wasn't sure if, you know, so then I, I see a lot of folks do coffee for Damascus.

Yeah.

Now, what is that? I mean, is that mad? No, I took a Scotch-Brite pad into that because it was scuffed up and kind of beat up, and it being a Charvel, I was like, this is my Charvel.

This is my hot rod bass.

And, you know, killer, killer guitar, but...

I've had this thing since she told me about getting one, and I just went over it with a Scotch-Brite pad and, you know, the finish down.

It's not really a relic, but it's just got some age on it.

Where you're at and the numbers that you're dealing with, it's like, sure you could go to, like, you could go to the Timesaver, and probably if it's in that sheet just zipping over it with, like, coarse Scotch-Brite, maybe that works.

But it's not-

I have a Scotch-Brite, um, or, but where it's got the sponge on one side and the green on the other.

But I just use the sponge.

The, uh, I think the VIAIR comes with, like, a almost looks like a Scotch-Brite pad and a little disc, like, screw on thing on the back.

And, uh, it was a common pipe thread, so I just went and got fittings and ran the pipe across.

Yeah, you can.

You need a Scotch-Brite first, rub it all back with that.

Um, um, obviously you're gonna have to mask the whole thing up yourself and using a really good quality, um, aerosol can, and get pretty au fait with, um, how to use it properly so you're not too close, not too far away, you're not putting too much on.

Um, so talk to the guys in whichever paint shop that you're gonna get it from, um, that making sure that you're getting the correct paint that's gonna go on top of ...
