Scooter's Coffee

And there was this little coffee shop that you only a drive through.

It was called Scooter.

So I don't know if it's a chain or if it was just like a standalone there in Blue Ridge.

I have no idea.

And they're not open yet.

Nope.

Um, there's a couple other, when I used to drive down Mason, the coffee shop that I used to go to, Scooters, wasn't open.

Yep.

So I'm not throwing you guys under the bus-

And to be honest, I should make fun of myself 'cause I didn't catch this in real time.

But Austin, last week, you know, we were talking about coffee, and we were talking about 7 Brew and Scooter's and stuff.

Again, we're a Scooter's podcast through and through, but we were talking about, uh, the 7 Brew case study, and we were kind of positing on where 7 Brew is from.

And let me just say, too, I, I hand up on this one.

I used to be the guy that looked stuff up on the show, but now I've been, I don't know, promoted or demoted to host that I, I wasn't there to look this up.

That was our bad.

Should have called that out in real time.

But, uh, yeah, it was, uh, again, we're a Scooter's podcast.

Matter of fact, I, I, I like going to Scooter's 'cause they don't have all these stupid names.

It's just like a small, medium, a large.

But the, the girl today, Shannon, actually said, "I think we're just gonna start calling the large the Hondo."

And are they blowing up in your area by chance? Are there a lot of them going up? Or not necessarily? I don't think there's any in around me, but I'm definitely familiar.

Let me just say before I come to this, we are officially a Scooter's company.

I, I wanna talk about this c- business case study.

For me personally as a consumer, I like the mobile ordering with Starbucks that's ready when I go there, is unmatched.

I mean, I almost didn't have to work.

Um, Mujo Duranjic announced that his company is moving to the south side of Normal at about 39th Street across the street from Scooter's.

Um, and they, what they did was they bought kind of a, I'm gonna c- I'm gonna say it, it was kind of a dilapidated little, tiny brick building, just looked sort of forlorn, and they've spruced it up.

Um, the outside is completely painted, new windows, new awning, everything.
