Um, uh, I've seen, uh, all of, uh, uh, shout out reluctant werewolf and ghoul school, which were like the straight to VHS ones before, uh, the, um, era that we're going to kind of talk about here in a

minute.

It was actually, uh, TV movies.

Let's do a little experiment.

Let's try to do a brand new Scooby-Doo movie.

straight to video so there's not as much risk involved and they pretty much let the creative team like have as much freedom like they didn't really bother them which they were able to kind of take certain elements of Scooby-Doo and rework them a little bit and this was directed by Jim Stenstrom, who worked on various Scooby-Doo projects since the early 80s, including Ghoul School and Reluctant Werewolf, the TV movies, as well as A Pup Named Scooby-Doo.

And he would go on to do what I call the revival quadrilogy, if you will, that started with this.

Also, that's odd because the very first movie that I knew I was gay was Scooby-Doo Meets the Ghoul School.
