Scheels All Sports, Inc.

Thank you to Matthew behind the scenes for producing it.

Thank you to Calci and Scheels for sponsoring this edition of All Texas Football.

If you want more Longhorn discussion, more news, notes, and nuggets, you can get it over at alltexasfootball.com. And if you wanna be a part of our programs here at All Texas Football, leave us a voicemail.

The voicemail line is open all day, every day, 512-766-8491.

We'll get to that too.

Uh, but let's, uh, thank our friends over at Scheels, and then we'll dive into the super chats 'cause I know we got plenty of those.

So let's start the super chats.

Let's take our beating, uh, 'cause we deserve it.

Uh, thanks to our friends over at Scheels.

Uh, we appreciate all of their love, uh, 'cause it's a fantastic place.

Matter of fact, uh, OTF will be represented there this weekend, so if you wanna go to Scheels, you haven't been to that Cedar Park location, it is fantastic.

They got a life-size Ferris wheel in there, so if you want something to do with the kids this weekend, uh, hanging out actually at Scheels is a pretty, uh, cool event because, uh, it's, uh, always a party.

He's really, he's really tuned into the outdoors too and enjoys a lot of it.

He is on Scheels pro staff, also on Clam Outdoors pro staff too, but he's a, he's a really good, good outdoor guy, and he'll join us too.

And then plus I've got some things to tell you, the later on in the show too, that you really, really, if you don't know it already, you should pay close attention.

It's kind of like school.

[upbeat music] We are here, and delighted to be here too on this Saturday morning.

It is, uh, going to be a great day, but as you know, and our next guest will attest to, the wind howled yesterday and the night before, just absolutely groaned.

And, uh, our next guest is a member of the Scheels Pro staff.

He is an elite member of the Clam Pro Staff, and he is just really a good guy, a father, a husband, and a consumer of the outdoors, no matter in the woods, on the water, or on the ice.

So much Oregon gear at that point.

You go into Scheels here in Lincoln, they had as big of Oregon display as they had Nebraska display at that time.

Oh, it was a cool thing.

It was, yes, so, so mu- like, I kinda forget just how pervasive that branding was at the time.

Mm-hmm.

And we're like, "Deal sounds good." Swung through Scheels, Texas Roadhouse, then I'm gonna go back over there tonight and maybe play some Catan, jump on the video game, something.

Catan?

Catan?Oh yeah

Cloud State Athletics.

Scheels, for every pursuit.

And by Coborn's, the official grocer of Huskies Athletics.

Here's your host, Tim Erickson.

Coach Chase Mason was in town last week, autograph signing, engaging with all sorts of young people.

Special time here at Scheels in Sioux Falls.

He looked good, was walking around fine.

What's the latest injury update you can give on Chase and anybody else that might be working through something as you gear up for UND on Saturday?

Uh, I mean, when you...

I don't know if people understand how much goes into his day of being a graduate student here, playing quarterback here, dealing with the injury, constantly being the discussion of everybody in the state on social media, uh, and then trying to be a captain and lead the team.

And, and then over the bye week, where you would think you're gonna take a break, uh, he's, he's at Scheels for a few hours signing autographs and interacting with people and kids.

Uh, and I know he loves...
