So, you know, you can have different pronunciations, but when you look at the spelling, it does seem like Scathach, but yeah.

And especially when the story isn't clear and, and there had been a book written about her that I just felt like this isn't true at all.

And I had found out that this guy just actually made the whole thing up.

I go and find her book and I find a version of the Cú Chulainn myth.

Because your Cú Chulainn stories are very different from ours, which is so radically different because he doesn't defeat Skáthach.

He doesn't pin her to the ground and put a sword to her throat and demand what he wants.

They actually achieve peace and friendship through love.

so they're in the middle of this epic battle which is night and day day and night and they're all kinds of wild sounds because these warriors are trained she knows all the feats fe fe 80 right feats so she can do the salmon leap and the feet of the cat and the feet of the shield and the precision throw and the the heroes scream and all of this so what you hear the soundscape coming down from the mountain over those days and nights is horrific And her daughter is trying to get them down because first she reckons that Skáthach will kill Cú Chulainn.

And that'll be sad because he's the greatest warrior she's ever seen in all her years as Skáthach's daughter, Uatach.

It was the done thing at the time.
