Scary Pockets

I've been feeling that personally.

Just with my own bands, Pomp Loose and Scary Pockets, when we make a post, we reach 2% of our audience.

So, like, this isn't, you know, I guess it's interesting to think of it as a public stance.

I've just kind of been saying this for the last five years as I've been watching it happen.

So coming out with music videos regularly for seven years.

I was flying down to LA once per month on a Friday night.

I'd record four songs in one day on a Saturday with Scary Pockets, four songs in one day on a Sunday with Pomplamoose.

And then we had operations teams that would mix, edit, and assemble each of those songs and output one video per week per band.

I think the running joke for a long time was how Taylor Hanson's a girl or whatever, or it's kind of lame to like them, but they're actually great musicians who then grew up to be really excellent musicians as adults.

um and so yeah i just i love umbop but i actually got i heard this this was from quinn uh because something that quinn and i do is send uh we send each other playlists back and forth about like twice a year um and so uh i heard i first heard this one from quinn and i'm be honest guys i might like this more than the original it's like a so uh scary pockets it just does like a bunch of covers um and it's like kind of like a funk cover of of umbop and it works
