And we had to fight to get that money.

And the 1981 riots, one of the things that came out of that was the Scarman Report.

And the Scarman report was the independent investigation that happened after the 81 uprising.

And it was a report then that we were able to use to justify our case, to get resources, because he clearly identified that there was an urban decline.

And I actually remember myself and Yvonne Salmon being at Walsall Library, completing a urban renewal application fund.

And that application was supported by what we were reading in the Scarman Report.

You know, it helped us to articulate our thoughts, to meet the agenda.

And it was that application that got us this building, this very building that we're sitting in now.
