Saxony Lutheran High School

Talk a little high school football.

O.J. Turner, the head coach for Saxony Lutherans, is going to join us here in about 10 to 15 minutes.

We're going to get a little snippet from Antonio Hollywood.

As well from Kennett, another big game for him.

Hopefully you were able to listen to that.

All right, we're going to take a break.

When we come back, we will talk with the head football coach for Saxony Lutheran.

O.J. Turner is going to join us coming up next.

They're coming off a nice win against Alden Marquette.

And then Mater Dei, they're 4-2 as well with a nice win against Saxony Lutheran from down there in the Jackson area.

I mean, Altaf had a close loss to Highland.

I know we don't like grading close losses, but I think that should say something.

He's got two touchdowns for 185 yards and nine catches there.

So, yeah, all-tops good team.

Modern A, they're coming off of a – win over Saxony Lutheran and they had a close win over Alton Marquette.

And, um, so I'm, I'm going to, I really like Hunter hot bomb for the quarterback for them.

In girls tennis, Sykeston over Frederictown 6-3.

Saxony Lutheran beats Potosi 7-2.

And in boys soccer, Frederictown shuts out North County 7-0.

Coming up today on the local side, volleyball action on AM 1240 KFMO.

So I can't drive down the main drag, got to go the back way through St. Mary.

that's fine that's fine I drive that way often not all the time not in the mornings nothing going on at four in the morning when I'm on the road um Keep an eye on Saxony Lutheran.

Now, they're going to go over to Illinois.

They are playing Mater Dei Catholic High School Breeze Mater Dei.

So that will be in Breeze, Illinois.

Saxony 2-1, Mater Dei 3-2.

So I think that's going to be an interesting – Yes.

That could be another one.

Saxony has been very good.

Saxony Lutheran is their No. 5 team with Popper Bluff 6, Cape Central 7.

I have Perryville in there at 8.

Dexter 9, Kennett 10.

Farmington, my number two.

They're having a good year as well.

Saxony Lutheran's my number three.

They've had a good year.

And another shootout.

Portageville beats Saxony Lutheran 54-40.

Our game of the week next week finds the 1-1 Cape Central Tigers coming to Farmington to take on the Knights.

A rematch.
