Saw XI

Now we have to wait several years in between films.

But I will happily wait as long as it takes for Saw 11 to make its way to us, if it's even Saw 11 anymore.

But in general, it's a great time to be a Saw fan.

We have 10 movies to go off of, one allegedly on the way, and we have two pre-existing video games, one that is coming out very shortly, Saw Genesis, and then a short film, several in-universe documentaries.

Yeah, like just one shebang.

I'm

making Saw 11 and it's the last one.

You're making Saw 11 or whatever you want to call it.

Did you guys know that you can actually re-roll your Saw trap as Jigsaw is giving it to you? Careful how you use the re-roll, however, because you could end up giving up a trap where only one person has to, like, cut their finger a little bit for the rack.

Ladies and gentlemen, today is the Saw 11 update that we have been waiting for for some time now.

We finally have our full creative team here on lock with writers, directors, producers, oh my!

Saw X totally rocked, and it kind of set up this little prequel story that seemed

like it was gonna unfold across multiple movies.

Saw 11 was shortly announced thereafter, and they even released a poster with a release date on it.

No one can say for certain what the original version of this film was going to look like, but I'm guessing it would have followed Detective Hoffman and John Kramer going after Cecilia Peterson again.

"'Did you miss me?' read the caption following in the account's tendency to post as if Billy were writing the post himself." It's been just three years since the last Saw film, Saw X.

Saw 11 was originally scheduled for release in Sep 2024, but was delayed a full year to Sep 2025.

Alexander H's never-let-go was given Saw 11's place on the 2024 release calendar instead, but when 2025 came around, there was no Saw.

Dune Prophecy alums Gregory Wildman and Jeff Tock will write the screenplay.

Lionsgate, which has distributed the films in the torture-centric franchise ever since 2004 saw ripped audiences of new ones, remains on board to distribute the eleventh installment.

It didn't happen.

I mean, we remember we were talking about Saw 11 like last year.

Like there was something coming and then for some reason it stopped.

And now James Wan and Lee Whannell are like back in it.
