Save the Rhino International

but there's all these huge rhino NGOs out there.

Save the Rhino International, Save the Rhino.

Are they not giving you money?

Don't get me started on that shit.

You saw that video that I posted about the two females that, that, um, that got, got hit and, and, and that guy that made that video, he, he really climbed in and, and did some investigation.

And he, he comes across about three, uh, I think he said something like $3 million that he can pick up, uh, from some NGOs that have been donated to South Africa towards rhino conservation.

And even like yesterday I saw on Facebook there was buy a fluffy to- uh, toy to save the rhino and stuff like that.

And, um, but I can't see it.

Like, I think that there needs to be, like, less consumerism in the world.

What am I doing? And so I went traveling, and then when I came back, my mum had seen this advert for an internship at a conservation organization called Save The Rhino, and it was a paid internship, like, which was really unusual at the time.

And I'd always loved animals, but I didn't know anyone who worked in conservation, so I didn't really know it was a thing that you could do, but I was really lucky to get that job.

And then from there, I went and did a master's in conservation science.
