well you didn't age for sure yeah i did not age uh so there's a book by a fucking statistician uh called morbid debunking modern longevity science boo uh it's an oxford researcher named saul justin newman and he is looking into like a lot of these cases where people will be like yeah this person lived to 116.

What's their secret? And both in the individual cases and in the blue zone cases, he's like, usually their secret is they don't have a birth certificate.

And so they're able to just say however old they want to be.

These claims are devastatingly silly when you s- rack them up against any sort of meaningful evidence.

Saul Justin Newman is a senior research fellow at the Center for Longitudinal Studies at University College London.

In 2019, Newman published a paper in which he pointed out that the parts of the world with high numbers of centenarians have another thing in common.

Poor record keeping.
