Mark lingered at the ticket stand, pretending to examine a wall of subway maps.

When he finally joined us, Danielle said, "You two have to see the Saul Leiter room.

They're doing projections on raw brick." Mark hesitated.

Um, and, and again, going back to Instagram, I thought it was wonderful because when I reflected on, um, the struggles of, like, Saul Leiter or if I think about Vivian Maier, whose work was never seen in her, like, while she was alive, right? When I think about those things, then I think, wow, what a wonderful platform, um, Instagram is because it allows us to curate our own gallery for our own liking.

And then if someone cares, you know, if someone is interested and they wanna see it, and they wanna, um, you know, um, they wanna contribute something to it, you know, it's there.

And, and I think that's, I think that's fantastic because I don't have to sit on top of, you know, my work.

Um, then, you know, then, then, then, then I guess the work is, you know, comes full circle when, when, when it's able to do that.

So yeah.

Um, you know, I, I'm, I'm always reminded of the great photographers that have come before and, you know, and, and I know that some of them experienced those feelings too, you know? Um, w- especially if you, um, look at some of the interviews of what, um, Saul Leiter kind of went through-

And then it brings an almost surreal, almost confrontational quality.

So think more Bruce Gilden than Saul Leiter.

So if you want to create something that is visually a bit different and striking, then Flash could be part of the answer.

Thirdly, it freezes movement.
