Sauk City

And now, on with today's show.

The first Culver's opened in 1984 in the Culver family's hometown of Sauk City, Wisconsin.

From the very beginning, they were known for their fresh-made butter burgers, frozen custard, and their Midwest hospitality.

Today, a lot more Americans know about Culver's.

We are a family-owned restaurant chain and very proud that the family is still very much involved in our everyday life.

And I kind of alluded to the origin story.

There was that first family-owned location in Sauk City, Wisconsin.

Is there more than that to the origin story of Culver's?

He was the sweat equity guy, you know, just making his, you know, his situation work.

And obviously now, he's got, gosh, four or five locations, a brewery up in South, you know, Sauk City, and he's rocking.

Yeah.

Like, he's doing it well.

At the end of October or beginning of November.

Raw Rations, which also operates locations in Sauk City, Wisconsin and ships nationwide, opened in Dubuque in 2024.

The store aims to provide food, toys, and treats that support the well-being of pets.

The product line features food that is meat first, includes more protein for the pet, as well as healthier grains such as barley, quinoa, and brown rice as opposed to white rice.
