Saturn Girl

...

Cosmic Boy, Rock Ruff, and Saturn Girl, dumb idiot.

Imra-

Who won't stop touching her head.

Incoming.

Boom, missile drop.

We're attacking, uh, the Cosmic Boy and Saturn Girl, and we now have, uh, New Krypton-

Who are these people, Joseph?

Not accepting this, refer to my previous comment, Superman uses all his King Omega and Time Trapper powers and punching Infinite Man.

It's always the punching with the super beings.

Dark Imrah, formerly Dark Imrah, declares that Superman saved them all.

Superman finds himself alone, his King Omega power gone.

He wonders which Legion's future was restored, but time's end is about to swallow him, as Our Man warned.

This is probably the other thing that made me mad, and I didn't really think about it until now, is that... one of the, one of the things I said, um, as we've been discussing, uh, the, the events leading up to issue one is, um, what I wanted to see is the dark side legion, be that legion, be our new legion.

And then you can, you could do a whole lot of different things, right? And I already, we already talked about this, but then we get the annual here showing them they're no longer under dark sides, um, uh, control or whatever.

Um, Imrah and Garth have had their two kids, just like before.

I like that Colossal Boy is from a planet of giants, and he's micro-lad.

I like that Saturn Girl doesn't have vocal cords, so everything she does is through her mind.

And Emrah in previous runs has been pretty flexible with when she uses her powers, and I felt like this Emrah was just like, was just well known that she's going to read your mind as soon as she meets you like no matter what it was just like that's what she does so there's things like that that i liked uh i thought it was i i thought the beginning was great he laid like the first six issues are a lot of character work and laying the groundwork of what pride poor lemnos has been doing And then I just felt like the landing, they did not stick it.

Like the landing, the ending was just like a big battle that I was like, I was expecting this to end more like kind of like a house of cards, political strategy type thing, more like the espionage team.

three of them

you know you know like 17 of them just from reading this run what are you talking about anyway go ahead love of live wire lightning lad go ahead

yeah but so we'll we'll get there in a second but basically this issue is because until now it's been a lot of kind of setting up this new world vignettes about life in the legion on earth that kind of stuff this issue reintroduces lightning lad saturn girl some ogs and kind of brings the main narrative back into focus which is you know they're on the edge of space because someone is being attacked

well this planet's been attacked yeah this yeah this planet has been attacked like or is currently being decimated

Legion of Super-Heroes, Timber Wolf, and Kid Quantum are gonna be joining the team.

Hayden Sherman created an actual written language for Saturn Girl's people.

I'm excited to see what that [laughs] looks like as well.

Nice.

So some of the powers will be familiar to the reader, but the characters are completely different.

There's no one that's a slavish imitation of Saturn Girl or Lightning Lad or Colossal Boy or, God help us, Bouncing Boy.

So, you know, they're all original characters in science fictional situations.

Now, I see you mentioned Bouncing Boy.
