Satoko Okudera

I like that there is just enough of all of these things.

And I feel like both Hosoda and his screenwriter for Summer Wars and Left Through Time, Okudera, did a very good job at synthesizing what was needed and probably cutting the fat and who knows what else that might have been in a first or even second or third draft of this film and then got cut down to what we got.

And then the, the, the snow scene is just absolutely excellent.

And I will not hear any different because still,

I know he did not write Baron of Matsuri.

I know he didn't write that.

But yeah, no, I'm not sure what the level of collaboration was between him and Okudera.

But then, like from Boy and the Beast onwards through Mirai, Belle, and Scarlet, those were all just him.
