Sasha Hupka

The president and his administration have been inconsistent in their messaging on this point, and earlier this year, some of our state's most conservative lawmakers proposed legislation that would've forced counties into agreements with federal agents to monitor voting sites.

Votebeat's Sasha Hupka has been covering all of this, and she is here in studio now to tell us more.

Good morning, Sasha.

Good morning.

Um, and I, I think that, you know, you can see clearly the concern in that in the way that LUCHA and election officials are preparing for this.

All right.

Vote Beats, Sasha Hupka joining us.

Thank you so much for your reporting here.

And she's going to break it all down for us.

We're here with Sasha Hupka, a reporter with Vote Beat Arizona, currently covering voting access, election administration, and democracy issues across the state, and who's previously been a reporter with the Arizona Republic, where she covered politics and business and regulatory issues there.

So, Sasha, thanks for joining Beyond the Ballot.

Thanks for having me.
