Saraland

Hope he's doing well after a scary injury earlier this year.

They played in the 6A state title game inside Bryant-Denny for Clay Chalkville High School in Saraland.

And it was like a moment in the sense of these two kids are two of the best players in the state of Alabama.

They're both coming to Alabama.

I, I think, uh, quite frankly, a big majority of it is that.

K.J. Lacy, we, we watched him play here locally at Saraland.

Very impressive young man.

Uh, how serious is the look that he's going to be getting? And, and could we expect to see more of K.J.

Does Arch trot out or will it be someone else? It's got to be Arch, right? I mean, let's see who Texas lists behind him at quarterback.

Is it Carl Lacey, the redshirt freshman? Or D'Abel, the true freshman, Carl Lacey from Saraland, Alabama.

He's thrown eight passes this year, completed seven of them.

I don't know anything about him.

Yeah, and I'm looking forward to you breaking that down for us a little bit as well, man, because that was quite the ballgame.

Uh, Saraland Coach Jeff Kelly will be on at 9:15 with us.

Of course, we'll have scores for, for you from around the state and the area, and then Mark, you'll wrap it up with the Camp Grace segment.

Yeah, Camp Grace segment, uh, I'm looking forward to that today.

We'll talk a little bit more about that.

Uh, I mentioned Jeff Kelly coming on with us.

Saraland, boy, they, they beat Blunt pretty bad last night, 56-14, Rick.

Yeah, I'm not so sure that Jamison Roberts, the young man that plays quarterback for Jeff and, and those guys, um, I'm not so sure he's not as good as there is in our state right now.

We, we will see more of those two guys.

What I will say is Friday I am headed to Alabama, gonna go see Jamison Roberts and Kyionni Snipes, uh, play for S- uh, Saraland.

Uh, obviously, ve- again, kind of like we talked about in the opening, I was a little concerned I was gonna have to go do this interview and talk to Jamison Roberts coming off of a tough weekend for Oklahoma, and kind of where his head was gonna be at.

I've talked to him.

because we

had a gigantic generator at that Hertz Reservation Center in Saraland.

It would run the city of Saraland.

We would sell power to Alabama Power.

They would contact us and say, go on generator and we'll buy your excess in the summer.

He's gotta be better for them to be the best team in the country.

Of course, the backup for him is a young man that played at Saraland.

Um-

KJ

I mean, Daphne.

He played at Daphne and then went to-

And then went to Saraland

... went to Saraland.
