Sarah Sanderson

oh my god so incredible and she said no

i would never i'm that is carrie bradshaw and you know i'm sarah jessica parker we're two completely different people and that would be like me walking around in sarah sanderson's clothes

No, it's not.

She makes me so angry.

i like you know what i

was obsessed with growing up sarah sanderson's double broom um i don't know if anyone noticed I know.

Listen, I loved it.

I thought it was so fat.

There's some spiritualism.

spirituality connotations this is not quite my field but that's my understanding but I think I can put it in terms that I think most Gen X's elder millennials will understand purple is the color of a witch and if you're going to argue with me about it you're going to have to argue with Sarah Sanderson who is of course one of the purple witch in Hocus Pocus Jessica Parker's character who wears purple so if you want to argue with that yeah

Picture Merlin in your head right now.

What is he wearing? It's generally purple.

The cast is...

Bette Midler as Winifred Sanderson, Sarah Jessica Parker as Sarah Sanderson, Kathy Najimy as Mary Sanderson.

They got all three of them to come back.

We also have Taylor Paige Henderson as a young Winifred Sanderson and Skyla Sousa as teen Winifred.

Nina Kitchen as young Mary and Aiden Torres as teen Mary and And let's see, Juju Brenner as young Sarah and Emma Kaufman as teen Sarah.

So we start off this movie with a flashback to when they were kids.

I mean, everyone acted the hell out of this movie.

Like, everyone did a great job performing.

2022.

The full cast is Bette Midler as Winifred Winnie Sanderson, Sarah Jessica Parker as Sarah Sanderson, Kathy Najimy as Mary Sanderson, Omri Katz as Maximilian Max Dennison, Thora Birch as Danielle Danny Dennison, Vanessa Shaw as Allison Watts.

Charles Rocket as David Dave Dennison.

Stephanie Farisi as Jennifer Jenny Dennison.

A quick summary on Halloween night, a teenage boy and his sister who have just moved to Salem, Massachusetts, accidentally summoned a trio of child eating witches.

Cast includes Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker as the Sanderson sisters.

Omri Katz as Max Denison, Thora Birch as Danny Denison, Vanessa Shaw as Allison Watts, and Sean Murray and Jason Marston, both as Thackery Binks, which we will discuss later.

Jason Marston, baby.

Mm-hmm.

The upside to DiCaprio coming in, however, is through DiCaprio, the casting directors discovered Thora Birch, who had just played DiCaprio's little sister in a failed television remake of the Ron Howard movie Parenthood.

As for the rest of the cast, Sarah Jessica Parker was tapped for the ditzy Sarah Sanderson after her role in Steve Martin's L.A. story, while sister act breakout Kathy Najimy was brought in to replace Rosie O'Donnell.

Pre-production for the project was otherwise smooth and principal photography was set to begin in October 1992 in Salem, Massachusetts.

According to IMDB.com, the Max Denison part was originally offered to Leonardo DiCaprio, but he turned it out to star in 1993's What's Evening, Gilbert Grape.

And did you know that Cloris Leachman was the producer's original choice to play Winifred? And opposite to the popular rumor, the creepy song Sarah Sanderson sings from the sky wasn't actually written by Edgar Allan Poe, nor did it have the stellar meters he would have used.

Brock Walsh actually wrote it exclusively for the film, and it was composed by the late James Horner.

So it's the only music in the movie that was not composed by John Dabney.
