Sarah Rothschild

All right.

So like we said, we are covering The Love Hypothesis, which was directed by Claire Scanlon and written by Sarah Rothschild.

It came out on September 23rd on Prime, so it's a pretty new movie still.

And Claire Scanlon actually also directed a Netflix rom-com called Set It Up, which I have not read, but I can only imagine.

Fuck her life.

Dr. Solo is a Known Asshole, and welcome to the Zero Credits supplemental reading of 2026's The Love Hypothesis, directed by Clare Scanlon, written by EverSoReylo- I mean Ali Hazelwood and Sh- Sarah Rothschild, and starring Lily Reinhart, Bateman, and M- Rachel Marsh.

I am always, as always, your host, Henry.

And I am the more ginger bloke, John.

Um, but thankfully, Amazon Prime saved us with the movie of The Love Hypothesis, which was directed by Clare Scanlon and based off of a novel written by Ali Hazelwood.

She was also one of the writers of the film, along with Sarah Rothschild, starring Lily Reinhart and Tom Bateman as the main characters.

Yes.

So much fun.

And she also did the setup, which was also a Netflix film with T-Dex and Lucy Liu.

The screenwriter, Ellie Hazelwood and Sarah Rothschild.

So let's look at some ratings here.

So Rotten Tomatoes, 76% from the critics, 74% from the audience.

Right?

Sarah Rothschild wrote the screenplay, adapting, as Megan said, Ali Hazelwood's best-selling 2021 novel of the same name.

Lili Reinhart stars as Olive Smith.

She's best known for playing Betty Cooper on Riverdale.

in a lot of ways, and I think Zoey Deutch as well.

The screenplay is by Sarah Rothschild, who wrote a Netflix movie called The Sleepover, which I had never heard of and did not look particularly good.

Uh, this adaptation was actually announced pretty quickly after the book was published October 2022.

Um, they announced that Lily Reinhart and Tom Bateman were in it in July of last year, and then it was shot in July and August.
