So can you talk a little bit through the different principles?
5:46
Yeah, absolutely.
5:46
And I, I think you're absolutely right.
5:49
A lot of these platforms are coming to the table with, um, you know, good intentions about wanting to serve the community.
5:57
But to your point, you have to have nonprofits at the table in order to really understand what do they want and need, and how do we best serve them.
6:05
So, um, I can go through the four principles.
6:08
I'd, I'd say that the first one, nonprofit consent, is really essential to what we're trying to achieve here.

... you understood more about kind of how each side was, was seeing this that was surprising?
11:17
So my question is, how do you think about sort of what is being done or attempted to be done to the nonprofit sector by the Trump administration?
11:28
Well, when I look at the last 18 months, I see that nonprofits are facing unprecedented historic threats, both financial threats, but also political threats.
11:41
And it's putting them under so much strain.
11:46
So when you look at what this administration has done, it's everything from abruptly cutting off funding directly.
11:51
putting in new terms and conditions, terminating contracts, withholding grant dollars.
11:57
All of that is, it makes it very difficult for nonprofits to keep their doors open, to keep their services open for the people they're serving.
12:05
But at the same time, we're also seeing this administration escalate this rhetoric, painting nonprofits, denigrating them as being un-American or standing in the way of the American way of life.
