The show will be held at the Warrnambool Racecourse on January 16.

Joining Barnes on the line-up will be John Stevens, Birds of Tokyo, Eskimo Joe, Baby Animals, Chocolate Starfish and Sarah McLeod.

Ticket pre-sales began on October 8th with general public tickets on sale on October 9th.

A Warrnambool environmental group is celebrating three decades of hard work.

They all came together as they liked the sort of drop D tuning guitar rock of the time.

They were fronted by Sarah McLeod, a fiery rock chick who wanted to be a singer and was learning guitar.

Her guitar teacher Chris Tennant joined.

Bassist Stuart Rudd knew Tennant and auditioned.

But he's ascended into this newly created position of the executive chair because he said the CEO is a position that requires the combined skills of Superman and Jesus and So he obviously said the only person who can do that is me.

I like to refer to him as Sarah McLeod, the lead singer of the Super Jesus, who performed at Leichhardt Oval.

From your guy's perspective, given he has done these things for our game and that we are faced at the moment with no entertainment for the grand final, how do you feel about the fusion of one person to... reviewing their own homework.

You're the boss of rugby league and the board chair says, you've done well, I'm patting myself on the back.

Yeah.

Although the vocal was a little bit kind of early Sarah McLeod and my initial reaction on the first track was like, oh, is that where we're going? Maybe they have similar, because I was thinking, well, Super Jesus were around in the same kind of period.

Maybe they shared influences.

And then I did a bit more reading about, how they got down in the 90s.

The song that we played was Keeping Time from a really good album called Salt.

And before that, one of my most favorite people in the world, Sarah McLeod.

And the song was from her Ripper solo album.

A few years ago, Beauty was a Tiger, and the song was Private School Kid.

Uh, Sarah McLeod's been very generous with her time over the years with us, and the whole band is here to play for us this morning.

We're gonna start at the very beginning from their debut album, Sumo.

It still was a nice afternoon and there was a bit of iconic retro entertainment with Super Jesus performing.

Sarah McLeod was unavailable, so Peter Valantis was lead singer because, you know, his new role is a combination of Superman and Jesus.

And the Angels closed.

You're a bit of a music fan, correct?
