Autumn KraussGUEST
2:18
But then also, as you said, conducting our original research to inform our product strategy and the vision where we want to invest as we build our HR technology, but also providing guidance to companies at a moment that is pretty unsettling, right? So a lot of ambiguity, it's pretty cacophonous as far as the AI transformation, what it's going to mean for both organizations and workers.

Tarek DawoudGUEST
43:47
To your point, yes, more and more people are moving to Workday and SuccessFactors and PeopleSoft or whatever, but If not, we do have an API interface as well.
Merill FernandoHOST
43:58
But I've also noticed, Tarek, even with moving to Workday and cloud-based things, because of so much of work that's gone into the on-prem with the MIMs and all the workflows that have been stood up and all the different apps before SCIM, what they were doing, there's a lot of legacy and processes involved.
Merill FernandoHOST
44:18
and ceremony on-prem.
Allan ThygesenGUEST
26:21
So it's a pretty exciting time.
Allan ThygesenGUEST
26:23
But I'd say that whereas that line of demarcation between us and let's say a CRM system like Salesforce or an ERP system like an SAP or Oracle or HR system like Workday or SuccessFactors, you know those have been defined over the last decade or two um the legal space is evolving very rapidly right now so historically we didn't do a whole lot of integration because there was just so many little specialized tools but now that there are a number of players trying to build more consolidated suites tailored specifically for lawyers we we want to make sure that that our system interfaces properly with them and if you have If you're a smaller company and your needs are maybe not quite as complex, we can probably support you end-to-end.
Allan ThygesenGUEST
27:08

So we are helping them making that change.
Bert PapijnGUEST
1:39

When you all think about Corning and its HR processes, why were SAP BTP work zone and success factors so vital to innovation at your organization?
Rachel MenardGUEST
3:53
Okay, so SuccessFactors is our system of record for any of our HR data.
Rachel MenardGUEST
3:57
So that's going to be our main data source.
Rachel MenardGUEST
4:00
When we think about what we're able to do with BTP and some of the applications we're developing there, that's really allowing us to create extensions of SuccessFactors functionality that the core product doesn't provide, right? And so we get that through.
Rachel MenardGUEST
4:14
It's a secure platform and way to do that.
Rachel MenardGUEST
4:16
And when we think about work zone, that allows us to create really a one-stop shop.
Jim LichtenwalterHOST
7:16
We've talked about BTP.
Jim LichtenwalterHOST
7:17
We've talked about WorkZone.
Eric KimberlingHOST
6:03
The human capital management function is something that ERP systems historically have not done well.
Eric KimberlingHOST
6:08
It's why companies like SAP have gone out and bought SuccessFactors, a very successful HCM solution.
Eric KimberlingHOST
6:14
It's because SAP historically, as an example, had not handled HCM well, and so they went and bought a leader in the HCM space.
Eric KimberlingHOST
6:23
And again, this is not what ERP systems were built to do.
