São Paulo FC

Uh, we had a bunch of them.

We had derbies in São Paulo.

We had derbies in Rio de Janeiro.

And of course, we had the derby in Rio Grande do Sul.

Let's start though with São Paulo.

Palmeiras hosted Corinthians.

And man, they put belt to ass, um, the porcos, man.

Paulinho had his penalty saved by Hugo Sosa.

Siemen Euro got the better of Santos FC with a 2-1 win, a tight contest where they ultimately prevailed.

São Paulo FC also secured a 2-1 victory against EC Vitoria.

2-1 wins seemed to be the theme in Brazil yesterday, demonstrating how closely fought these matches can be.

EC Bahia managed a 1-0 win over Murasol FC, a vital three points for them.

Finally, to Brazil, where the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A delivered another exciting encounter.

São Paulo FC secured a 2-1 win over EC Vitoria.

São Paulo are a club with immense history and expectation, and they'll be looking to challenge for the title this season.

This win is important for them to keep pace with the leaders, and EC Vitoria will be disappointed to have conceded late on.

The money has started to come, and I think they'll go off a little bit shorter.

I just can't see any support here for, for Sao Paulo.

Be very surprised.

It's gonna take two goals for Sao Paulo to stop them here.

Um, I'll be very surprised if that happens.

I know stranger things have happened, and we opened the show saying there's gonna be a surprise, uh, winner in this particular round, but for me it won't be Sao Paulo.

Yeah.

They, they do have a lot of the money here, Cruzeiro.
