Sandycove

So Ciara, let's begin with you.

A number of flagship events for this year's festival are taking place at the Smashing Times Visual Art Gallery and Center for the Arts and Human Rights at 30 Sandycove Road, Dublin.

And this is the first ever arts and human rights venue in Ireland.

So tell us about, for example, the launch of the festival that starts everything off.

Yeah.

So the, um, festival is going to launch on Friday the 9th of October, as you mentioned.

Um, our launch event will take place from seven to nine PM At the Smashing Times, um, the art gallery and centre for the arts and human rights at 30 Sandycove Road.

Um, the evening will feature a range of guest speakers, uh, including Alan Glasgow from Frontline Defenders, um, alongside yourself, Mary, um, who might give a- an artist talk and perhaps a poetry reading.

Oh, you have to be part of Bray, absolutely.

I, I, I moved to Sandycove.

Can you believe it? [laughs] Of all places.

Yeah.
