Sandro Wagner

And then, while like Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich would score five unanswered, to win 6-1.

In the All-Sweater Bundesliga clash on Wednesday night, Kaiserslautern would beat Hannover 2-0 to potentially start ratcheting up pressure on Sandro Wagner.

Of course, over the weekend, Hannover lost in the Lower Saxony derby against Eintracht Braunschweig.

It's been a definitively got worse under him compared to christian tits we'll talk about that in a bit and finally there was a upset another one for the road as holstein keel would beat hoffenheim on penalties having drawn one all in the match it's really interesting i was i keeping so much of an eye on the Hannover-Kaiserslautern game that I didn't notice I didn't even notice Holstein-Kiel had equalized that that's the worst part and then obviously finding out that they had gone through on penalties was quite the surprise to me but it does continue what has been a bad start to the season for Christian Ilse's side so yeah A few upsets in this round of the Pacal of course.

But at the moment, they just feel like they're sort of not in the right place and that Ernest doesn't know what is the fix for their squad problems.

But I do trust him to be the man who is ultimately able to to fix them.

There haven't been any rumblings about Stuttgart potentially sacking him and hiring, like, I don't know, Sandro Wagner or Marcus Amfang to replace him.

But, yeah, hopefully that doesn't start any time soon.

a shame.

Well, yes, that was actually the best fight to Bundesliga match of the weekend, if you don't count Sandro Wagner taking a very, very cold

shower.

No surprises there for everyone who has any kind of care for FC Augsburg.

But yeah, as you say, Magdeburg well and truly thrashed him.

But

yeah, let's stick with Sandro Wagner's latest team anyway.

Sorry, well, most previous team anyway, I should say, not most recent team, because we're going to move on to the Bavarian derby, which is a game that...

You do need to really, I think, talk about the intensity that Augsburg brought to the contest.

This is not the same Augsburg squad that was floundering under Sandro Wagner at the beginning of last season.

Manuel Baum has brought an absolute sense of professionalism into this team and self-belief.

This team is good.

And often, even when they lose, they do so with fire inside them, let's just say.

I mean, as you say, Rory, they not only beat Bayern, deservedly beat Bayern at the Allianz Arena, but they also ran them close to the VVK at the start of last season too, and that was under Sandro Wagner, let's not forget

that.

They lost 3-2, but they were really pushing for a leveler towards the end.

Bayern will be making the small trek over to Augsburg where they will take on a resurgent Augsburg side that...

Since the beginning of last season, when they cut ties with Sandro Wagner, has really become a formidable squad in the Bundesliga.

Now, they had some tough times right before the break.

But make no mistake, this is a quality team.

Let's take a look at this Augsburg side managed by Manuel Baum, who has done a terrific job.

I mean, this guy has been sensational since he joined the club, has gotten them back to a point where they are not just a respectable side, but a dangerous one, one that could potentially take on anybody.

And I have... honestly become super impressed with the way that they have handled business I of course thought that Sandro Wagner would go in and do a great job there man you know what he just didn't and the team did not respond to him they did not respond to the way that he coached them And as it would turn out, they just needed something different.

And Manuel Baum turned out to be that guy.
