Well, as the days of the offseason unfold, go by we are getting closer about a month away from exhibition play so we're looking forward to getting some NBA action under the belt here in the not too distant future but there is basketball action going on overseas and for Lakers fans they get to see if they check it out as far as the FIBA action overseas, some of the good play.

Once again, multiple games so far in this offseason in FIBA play from Sandro Momokilishvili, who has scored another 22 points, six rebounds, four assists as his Georgian team beat Portugal as far as the I guess, you know, elimination of teams as it goes on as far as the tournament eventually wind its way to windling down teams so that there will be a list of teams that will compete as far as in the olympics here and then you know it's going to be around the corner it's no it's a little while 2028 we're still talking but yeah it's gonna be around the corner uh you just wait and see it'll come faster than you think so with that said though for lakers fans um you know who we're talking about who Sandra was as a guy coming off the bench, the sixth man coming off the bench for Toronto for their team.

Didn't do well in the playoffs, but again, we're going to go ahead and make sure we give him a good profile as we profile the players later on this month.

Even with all of Jonathan Kuminga's flaws, he does have a lot of talent and specifically at a position where both of those teams didn't have anyone.

I don't care what you think about Jonathan Kuminga if the alternative is we don't have a dude that plays that position for Minnesota or who's the best power forward on the Lakers? I-I-It's, it's like you're either playing a s- the backup center like Mamukelashvili or you're playing Jared Vanderbilt, right? Like at a certain point it's just so much better than the alternatives.

But before we talk about any of the talent upside for Minnesota, it starts with those little details.

He walks into a starting lineup with LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards.

The reason why I think they're gonna be a very good regular season team is they're kind of built really well for a Luka Dončić style offense now.

They've brought in a few far more reliable, uh, catch and shoot players, right? Like, you know, when you look at the players they brought in, like Quinn Grimes is a pretty reliable catch and shoot guy.

Sandro Mamukelashvili, reliable catch and shoot guy.

Collin Sexton even is a guy that is a, a, like a, a legitimate floor spacing player.
