Sandra Seacat

Early 20s.

Robert Johnson's book, then I was studying acting with Sandra Seacat, who brought in this idea of looking at a script as a dream.

She was the first.

Ah,

So tell me about that.

Tell me specifically about what it was like to have an acting teacher bring that into the realm of work in a succinct way.

Well, Sandra Seacat really is a lineage carrier.

She came out of the actor's studio, but she really developed her lane, just like you, Michael, like any of these teachers that sort of find their path.

Yeah, go ahead, Matt.

I was going to say I got to work with the great Sandra Seacat, who passed away a couple years ago.

She worked a long time with Shepard and the Living Theater and all that stuff and did all these Jungian dream work exercises that a lot of that work, those plays came from.

So, yeah, I and I got to pick her brain a little bit, but I love Sam Shepard.
