Tell us about how that started and what they do there.

So the Charles Darwin Foundation, it beginning 1959 too, a little bit around the same time as the National Park too, but they begin I think in the purpose of thinking about what's happening in the islands, what's going on with nature, with the biodiversity around here.
29:49
And right now they are doing a lot of research programs, which is the main thing that they are gonna do.
29:54
The foundation, they do raise some money, and we have a lot of scientifics that are from Galapagos, from Ecuador, and of course from all over the world that they come to research in a lot of different topics with plants, invertebrates, marine life, uh, the health of the tortoises, for example, birds like blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, penguins.
30:19
So there are different topics that they are studying.
30:22
And the idea is that with all the bases that they get, this information, of course, is gonna be given to the National Park.
30:29
So National Park is going to be the entity in charge to do the decisions in order to do conservations too.
