and um you know uh for all i know maybe like and i'm bringing in for the listener i'm bringing up the phantom white thing because there is a little section about the mysterious bald white around bennington and stuff like that but again um i just want to first say heather uh you know it's actually hard for me to even get people from vermont to share their stories let alone trying to get them to trust me with their stories.

I've had this one lady that was a relative to Sandra Mansi, who is known for the champ photo.

But maybe it was just the way I worded something or something where I never heard back from them again.

But you know what I mean? It gets very hard.

We were working on the film.

What's interesting is a lot of times the sightings or the evidence for CHAMP is more accidental, like Sandra Mansi got this photo in the 70s when she was with her family.

And we had been had a drone donated to our camera dp and camera crew to try out and we never even used it in fact we opened the box as we were filming so we had put up a drone because i thought as the director to be really helped the production value to have a beautiful aerial shot of the lake and show the lake shimmering like glass and little lucy and i on our little rickety rowboat and we put that thing up i think we shot a couple days with the drone and then kelly A couple years after the fact, and I think it's quite poetic since she's been looking for Champ over 50 years, she has her large screen TV in South Carolina and is watching all our drone footage.

And she sees Champ swimming behind our boat and calls me up.

You know, I've never seen it, but there's even a photo evidence.

The infamous Mansi photo in 1977, a woman named Sandra Mansi actually was able to capture a photo that allegedly shows the creature's head and neck.

And the FBI even did extensive analysis of the photo, but could not conclusively prove or debunk that.

the photo so and then the other thing which of course uh listeners of this podcast are huge fans of sasquatch and you know in the adirondacks there have been numerous sightings from the most famous being in whitehall where they have the annual sasquatch festival and calling contest to uh places in in You know, near Saranac Lake and in the high peaks where there have been sightings of a Bigfoot or Sasquatch.

Native Americans called him, um, Chousarou, and there was a, a, a reward offered of $50,000 for the beast's body by someone called P.T. Barnum.

Um, Sandra Mansi took the most credible photo of Champ in 1977.

Um, and I do know there is, um, a lady, um, at the moment who's on a, a kind of a crusade to try and get photos of Champ as well, so we'll see what happens there.
