Sanditon

So Amanda and Bianca are based in the States, and Bianca is a historical costuming expert.

And Amanda wrote about the racism in the Sanditon fandom.

for that journal article and used social media as a point of analysis for that and that was really interesting and the things around like for example when Sanditon peaked there was a whole thing called hashtag pineapple gate because they used a pineapple fruit as the central dinner table

piece

and the main character in Sanditon is a Bayesian heiress called Georgiana Lamb and the like the lead racist white woman basically put a pineapple on the table to exoticise Georgiana and then the Sanditon gatekeepers basically made the pineapple the symbol of the show in social media and then got challenged on it over racism and there was just a huge scandal.

There was something on pineapples in Bridgerton as well because that's used as well in the first series if I'm not mistaken.

yeah

I know.

I still loved him from fucking, when he was in Sanditon.

So you were saying the in-betweeners? Yeah, I was going to say in-betweeners.

You

know who's in the in-betweeners? Sanditon.

Pull up his nose,

pull up

I think it's sort of like a little bit refreshing to get something that's like pretty brand new.

Like it's new storylines, kind of a new adventure to go on, which I felt with Sanditon.

I really enjoyed that whole process.
