So my guest will give you a much more elaborate, detailed history of Peter Jeffrey After, he provides for us a summary of his salvation testimony, including the kind of religious atmosphere in which he was raised, if any, and the kinds of providential circumstances that our sovereign Lord raised up in his life that drew him to himself and saved him.

But anyway, I'd like you to now just discuss Peter's life and legacy in ministry.

And perhaps you could go back as far as you know in his life about his own coming to Christ and his own entering into the ministry, how he wound up at Martin Lloyd Jones's first congregation as a pastor there, Sandfields in Port Talbot, Wales.

So you could pick up the program right now, brother.

I took a page from Lloyd-Jones' playbook, and he did a thing called the Brotherhood.

And I think he kind of inherited this at Sandfields in Wales.

But what he did is he would have the men pose a practical or maybe a doctrinal question to the group.

And then he would put that question before the group.

Do you know, I was thinking this on the way up in the car.

I'm from Sandfields and I think back to my street.

All super strong ladies, like super strong women.

I mean, my gran brought me up, my auntie, what was her name now? Auntie Gurley up the street, she brought all her grandkids up.

Pulled out a book.

I was at Martin Lloyd Jones' church in Wales, a church called Sandfields, for a number of years.

And when I got there, there were all these people in their 70s.

It was an older congregation, but it also had this huge age gap.
